Dr. Tatiana Borisova is an assistant professor and an extension specialist in Food and Resource Economics Department, University of Florida. Borisova received her PhD degree in Agricultural and Environmental economics from the Pennsylvania State University (2003), and Master degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Central European University (1999). Borisova’s areas of research include residential water demand management, costs and benefits of pollution abatement programs, precision agriculture, participatory natural resource management, public attitudes and perceptions about water issues, and effectiveness of public outreach programs. Borisova’s research program includes multidisciplinary projects funded by US Department of Agriculture, US Department of Energy, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and involves international collaborations.
