Stan Walerczyk brings 27 years lighting experience includes distribution, maintenance, retrofit contracting, 3rd party review, consulting, design, luminaire design, policy making and research to Forester University. Currently, Walerczyk is the co-chair of the Human Centric Lighting Society (HCLS) and the Principal of Lighting Wizards, an energy efficient consulting firm. Additionally, Walerczyk assisted on Department of Energy research on spectrally enhanced lighting. Walerczyk has written 100 white papers, published articles, and presented 1,000+ seminars, including at 4 Lightfairs, 3 IES Annual Conferences, 2 AEE WEECs, 2 Strategies in Light and 1 Lightshow West.
Walerczyk is a Human Centric Lighting Professional by the HCLS, Certified Lighting Energy Professional by the AEE, and was Lighting Certified by the NCQLP through 2014. Walerczyk is currently on the IES Spectral Effects and Energy Management Committees, and the AEE published his book "Lighting & Controls: Transitioning to the Future".
