Ryan Hunsicker brings over 16 years of experience in a wide variety of Flood Control, Water Resources, transportation, Land Surveying, Land Development, GIS and management roles for the County of San Bernardino to Forester University. Hunsicker manages the County Department of Public Works GIS staff and the department policy for GIS applications and procedures. Hunsicker received his professional land surveying license in 2007 and has been certified by the GIS Certification Institute as a GIS professional. Hunsicker is a recognized leader in the development of GIS programs, Local land development processes for local government including the management and development of multiple county wide GIS infrastructure and data management projects. Hunsicker also has extensive experience in Land Surveying and GIS integration projects having served with on the State of California Geodic Control Committee, and the URISA Policy and procedure Committee. Hunsicker is also the Current Chair of the California Land Surveying association GIS committee and is the Inland Empire advisor to the Southern California URISA Chapter. Hunsicker’s responsibilities have included management of large and complex municipal GIS program developments, integrating hydraulic engineering processes with GIS systems, conducting short courses state wide on the best use of utilizing GIS software for public and private civil engineering and land surveying organizations. Hunsicker has also written articles on the use of GIS in land surveying, civil engineering and GIS organizations.
