Originally from New York, Rod Johnston graduated from both the Universities of Idaho and Washington, and from Paul Smith’s College. From Alaska to the Amazon, Rod has managed the design and development of utilities, infrastructure, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The founder and director of the Asheville Land & Real Estate Development Conference, Rod has authored numerous magazine and professional articles as well as multiple books. Rod has taught management and logistics classes at the University of Washington, for the U.S. Forest Service, at Flathead Community College, for the Asheville Board of Realtors, and at various conferences. Together with their four children, he and his wife Evelyn reside in Asheville, North Carolina.
