Lois Ann Sorensen

Lois Ann Sorensen brings over 23 years of active involvement in the field of water to Forester University. Sorensen is currently Vice Chair of the Florida Section / American Water Works Association’s Water Use Efficiency Division and a Demand Management Program Manager for the Southwest Florida Water Management District. Sorensen’s experience and expertise includes: drought response (supply-side and demand-side strategies), utility water conservation planning and project management (master plan development, telemetry and other technology implementation, water rate studies, customer education, water-efficient landscape practices, regulation development/update and conservation research). Sorensen has a B.S. in Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.
