COURSE DESCRIPTION
Let’s face it: most of us last took speech or writing classes in high school. It is not uncommon for engineers, managers, and other technical staff to receive little to no on-the-job training in communication skills.
Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 crisis and the requirements to social distance and/or work from home have not made communicating any easier. But social distancing and effective communication don’t have to be mutually exclusive…And that’s where Heather Seitz (PE, CFM, LEED AP, and Project Specialist at ICON Engineering) comes in!
Join Forester University for this live, educational webinar as Ms. Seitz provides ideas that any individual or team can use to bolster their communication, whether in the office or from afar. From the basics of email and group presentations to new tools like Zoom and Teams, there are now more ways than ever to get your message across—if you know how.
While most of us would prefer to meet with our colleagues and clients in person, we know that isn’t always possible, or even advisable. The methods you’ll learn in this course are the next best thing.
