Jobsite Communication: How to Play Nice

COURSE DESCRIPTION

While communication on the jobsite is important, it can be challenging if you don’t know how to navigate common communication breakdowns and play nice in the sandbox.

Join returning speaker Jennifer Hildebrand, MBA, CPESC, CPSWQ, CESSWI, for the second session of our Playing Nice in the Sandbox: Top 5 Compliance Strategies Webinar Series as we walk through how you can use your SWPPP as a communication tool to fix communication challenges and keep your jobsite audit ready.

Specifically, this online training webinar will cover how you can use your SWPPP to effectively communicate with regulators, your local community, and project and field teams to avoid and overcome communication breakdowns. We’ll begin by examining the most common jobsite miscommunications, why they occur, and strategies to effectively communicate despite tensions between oversight, project teams, individuals, etc. Next, we’ll discuss how to and how not to communicate with regulators and the local community, and explore how you can turn your SWPPP into a communication tool to keep your jobsite on track and audit ready. Throughout this webinar, we’ll study examples of best response communication techniques and how you can include quality assurance to address communication challenges.
