Although landfills routinely monitor their gas collection and control systems, many are still doing it manually. The result? Data loss, operational expense, and errors.

Join Aaron Weier to explore Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (e.g., key components, applications, and workflows), and the best practices to implement GIS at your landfill to better analyze AND manage your landfill gas data.

In this webcast we'll start with a review of GIS, including: key components, applications, and workflows. We'll then take a look at landfill gas data collection and analysis, the different data sets and patterns (e.g., spatial, etc.), the different techniques, and the value and purpose of each. Building on this, Weier will walk us through the best practices in implementing and integrating a GIS system, the expected benefits (e.g., data quality, efficiency, etc.), and how you can integrate a GIS to better manage and analyze your landfill gas data.
